Social Action Shabbat 2012: Randall's Island
Saturday, April 28th, The New Shul organized a day of social action to help out in our community and pitch in in our city. One of our crews went out to the Randall's Island wetlands, where the group planted 18 new winterberry and dogwood shrubs as well removed yards of the invasive plant mugwort.
We hope you can join us next year! Thanks to all our amazing volunteers, both at Randall's Island and with Kids' Club, where we helped with their spring carnival. We made a huge difference and are so proud of it.
