Summer Shul - Hanging on the Piers






Havdalah on Pier 64

Come experience Havdalah with The New Shul - we will mark the passings from day to night, from Shabbat to the week, from summer to everything to come. Join us in song, blessings, and pot-luck.

When: Saturday, August 27 at 7pm

Where: End of Pier 64 (enter at 24th St. and West Side Highway) - in between Chelsea Piers and the Frying Pan.




Morning Yoga Prayer on Pier 45

Join member Sasha Malamud for stretching, breathing, body tapping, movement, and singing and prayer, to awaken our body and soul to a beautiful new day! Please wear comfortable clothing.

When: Every Wednesday morning in August, from 7:30-8:30pm

Where: Entrance of Pier 45 (across West St. from West 10th St.)

And don't forget about our weekly Torah Schmooze. At this table there's more than one way to unroll the Torah. Whether you've studied Torah all your life or have never read a word, you'll find plenty to talk about. Each week we send out an email with a broad variety of suggested readings and/or videos relating to the coming week's Torah portion, as well as a link to the Torah portion itself.
